Step 1: Log In
Go to AmpliFund, https://ne.amplifund.com and log in using one of these browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
Using other browsers may cause problems.
Step 2: If You Are an External User
If you are an External User applying on behalf of another organization, you must:
- be added as a user to the applicant organization's account
- have ‘Applicant Portal Access’
Talk to the organization’s administrator to make sure this is done.
Need help? See the External User Guides and the How to Add Users user guides for more information.
The External User will toggle to the Applicant Organization's account to apply. Once added, switch to the organization’s account before starting the application.
Step 3: Use the Right Application Guide
Some DED programs have their own application guides. Look in your program’s section first.
If there isn’t one, you can use the general application guides.
Step 4: Understand the Application Sections
DED's application will have several Sections. The Sections have their own Application User Guides:
-
Opportunity Details
- Shows the program’s application cycle and contact info for the program manager.
-
Project Information
- You will enter basic information on the applicant organization and the person submitting the application.
-
Application Forms
- This is the main part of an application. It will change depending on the program.
-
Budget (not applicable to all applications)
- Add your proposed budget.
-
Performance Plan (not applicable to all applications)
- Add your proposed performance goals and milestones.
-
Submit
- Review your application and submit it when you're ready.
NOTE: 🔒 Only one user can work on the application at a time. Save and close it before someone else logs in to make changes.
Step 5: Use the Application Progress Bar (Timeline)
At the top of every page, you'll see a progress bar. It shows how much of the application is done.
You can click any icon in the progress bar to go straight to that section.
NOTE: You do not have to complete the sections in order. However, you must finish the Project Information section before you can fill out the Budget.
Step 6: Mark Each Section as Complete
When you finish a section, mark it as complete. You’ll see a checkmark appear in the progress bar for that section.
You must complete all sections before you can submit your application.
