Navigate to the Custom Form Grid
Step 1: Navigate to your Grant - Grant Management (left navigation) > Grants > [Select your Grant]
Step 2: Click on Custom tab > [Select the form you need to complete]
Editing a Custom Form that hasn't been Submitted (or is in a Draft status)
NOTE: DED cannot view Custom Forms that are in a Draft Status.
Step 3: Navigate to the Custom Form Grid (See steps 1-2 above)
Step 4: Click the pencil symbol next to the green hyperlink of the custom form that needs edits.
NOTE: the trashcan icon will delete the custom form.
Step 3: Make the necessary edits, and click the green Submit button, located near the lower right-hand corner (you may need to scroll down in your browser window).
If you are not ready to Submit the custom form to DED, click the Save as Draft button.
Step 6: Click Submit again on the popup. This will create an automatic email to your DED Grant Manager and DED Responsible Person that you have submitted this Custom Form. To verify the Custom Form has been successfully submitted, view the Custom Form Status is "Submitted" on the Custom Form Grid.
Editing a Custom Form that has been Submitted
If the form was submitted to DED and edits need to be made (found by DED Program Rep or Recipient):
NOTE: Depending on the program/specific custom form, the Program Rep may not allow edits to the Custom Form.
In order to get a Custom Form reopened, notify your DED Program Manager.
After the Custom Form is reopened, it will be in a Draft status. The Award's Recipient Grant Manager will receive the Reopened for Editing email notification. See example below.
Use the link in the email or navigate to the Custom Form manually. Edit the form as you would a Draft Custom Form (see steps 3-6 above).
