Step 1: Navigate to the Award you want to create an Amendment on.
Step 2: Click Post-Award (top navigation) > Management > Amendments
You are now on the Amendments grid. This includes Amendments that have been started and submitted.
NOTE: Before creating an Amendment, view your program guidelines to verify what Areas to Amend are accepted. If an Amendment Area is submitted that is not eligible, the amendment will be denied.
Step 3: From the Amendment Grid, click the + icon in the top right corner.
Step 4: Enter the Amendment Request Name and select the Areas to Amend.
You can select more than 1 area to amend at a time.
Step 5: Complete each applicable Area to Amend section.

Step 6: Click the green Submit button when done.
Save will allow you to come back later and submit the Amendment. Navigate to the Amendments grid, and use the Edit Pencil Icon to get back into the 'Saved' Amendment and later 'Submit'.
Email Notifications
The Award's Recipient Grant Manager will receive the Amendment's status change notification email.
